Fishing, Boating & Canoeing
Fall and spring are great times to get out on the water and experience all it has to offer. Spring and fall fishing are great. The canoe trails lead you across portages into secluded, untouched lakes with crystal, clear water and interesting wildlife. Chef Krenar will gladly prepare gourmet box lunches to take on your adventure. Guided boat tours are offered at Oakview during fall and spring or rent our pontoon boat and have a barbeque picnic out on the one of the lakes.

The Artists of the Fall
The Fall Studio Tour is held on the first two weekends of October every year. Many local artists open their studios to the public. There is such amazing talent hidden up here in the highlands. The third weekend of October hosts the Hike Haliburton Festival. This hiking celebration is becoming more and more popular each year. The autumn colours will take your breath away.
