Oakview Lodge is an historic country inn and cottage resort on Little Hawk Lake in the Haliburton Highlands, Ontario, Canada about two and one half hours north of Toronto and is owned and operated by Valerie and Krenar Kulla. The Resort
The property consists of four acres of mature trees, manicured gardens, sand beach & crystal clear waterfront. The lodge hosts six second floor luxury suites. Each suite is well appointed and has a private bathroom. Four of the suites offer a bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed and a sitting room with satellite television. Each of the other two suites have a bedroom with two double beds. Three suites have a fabulous view of the lake and three look out over the gardens and water fountains. A tour of the lodge is available on our Tour the Resort page The ground floor of the inn includes our Fireplace Lounge & Martini Bar, common room with satellite television, board games, books and magazines, dining room and screened porch. The porch has the very best view of Little Hawk Lake and offers an outdoor atmosphere where guests partake of the finest of foods and wines. We also have a new two bedroom housekeeping cottage, The Loon’s Nest, which looks out over the lake. It’s beautifully decorated with pine interior and modern full kitchen including stovetop, built in oven, microwave and full size refrigerator. We offer complimentary paddleboats, canoes and motorized fishing boats (one hour per day) for all of our guests. We also have ski boats and a pontoon boat with propane BBQ and hard top for rent. Guided boat tours are also available for those who prefer to let us do the driving.

Little Hawk Lake
Little Hawk Lake has crystal clear water, sand beaches and rocky cliffs. Almost all of the cottages on Little Hawk are water access only and the majority of the property surrounding the lake is Crown land. It is 280 feet deep at its deepest point. It connects to Big Hawk Lake at two points. Both lakes have lake trout and bass for fishing enthusiasts. There are numerous portages into smaller surrounding lakes. Many of these lakes are virtually untouched. There are a couple of forests which have three hundred old hemlock trees. This lake district is stunningly beautiful.
